This is a camera frame mount to hold a Survey3 camera to the DJI Mavic 3 drone. An included 1/4-20 bolt is used to secure the camera to this frame.

When attached to theDJI Mavic 3 Camera Mount – Camera Frame to Collar Adapter this camera frame can be rotated 360 degrees and then locked using the adapter’s set screws.

Make sure to unscrew the set screws before rotating, as the nylon plastic is soft and you can easily dig the set screws into the frame pivot, creating a groove. With excessive use the pivot of the camera frame may become worn and need to be replaced, so be careful to reduce excessive marring of the plastic.

Install Instructions:

Step 1: Slide camera into frame, making sure the bottom tripod threads lines up with the hole in the frame mount. Tighten the bolt with a flat head screwdriver.

Step 2: Make sure the set screws are unthreaded and their pointed ends will not contact the frame pivot when inserted. Slide the frame pivot into the collar adapter, you should feel/hear a click as it seats itself into the adapter.

Step 3: Rotate the cameras to the desired orientation. Tighten the two set screws of the collar adapter using the collar’s included hex keys.

Step 4: Route the camera’s cable through the frame’s clips and test the connection. You are now ready to use the mount.
