Use this adapter to attach the Survey3 Mavic 3 Camera Frame to the Mavic 3 mount collar. Once the camera frame is installed the frame can be rotated 360 degrees to the desired orientation, then the set screws can be tightened using the included hex keys to lock the camera in place.

This adapter is designed to be a tight fit in the collar, so some force is required to push it on. It is not designed to be attached and reattached continuously. We suggest unscrewing the set screws and removing the camera frame instead.

Two opposing set screws with pointed tips dig into the plastic frame pivot to securely lock the cameras in place.

Make sure to unscrew the set screws before rotating, as the nylon plastic is soft and you can easily dig the set screws into the frame pivot, creating a groove. With excessive use the pivot of the camera frame may become worn and need to be replaced, so be careful to reduce excessive marring of the plastic.

Install Instructions:

Step 1: Unscrew the set screws using the included hex key such that they will not contact the camera frame pivot when inserted.

Step 2: Slide the collar adapter into either slot of the collar. The adapter is designed to be a tight fit, so some strong hands and extra force will be required.

Step 3: Insert the camera frame, rotate the frame to the desired angle and use the hex key to tighten the set screws. Be careful not to rotate when the set screws are in contact with the camera frame.

Step 4: Route the camera’s cable and test the connection. Your mount is ready to use.
